Terms of Reference

The College Research Committee is a committee of the Academic Board with responsibility for oversight of strategies and policies related to research within the Faculties.

 

The College Research Committee (CRC) shall:

  • Consider proposals from staff through their Dean, on applications to all internal and external sources of research funding;
  • Develop, monitor and review policies relating to the College’s research activities, including research and research training, internationalization, and their management;
  • Monitor and endorse the activities of the College’s Human Research Ethics Committee;
  • Provide leadership and advice on mechanisms to improve monitoring, benchmarking and reporting of the College’s research performance;
  • Ensure research related workshops and seminars are frequently scheduled to encourage continual advancement of scholarly activities including the publication of research findings.

Constitution

The Committee shall be composed of the following personnel:
