Knowledge is not only available from teachers. Students can also learn much from peers, especially, their successful fellow students. With the objective of helping students improve their academic performance in the College, a Peer-assisted Learning Scheme (PALS) is instituted as part of the "educational intervention measures" in the College's Student Learning Support Scheme (QESS Project ACL SLSS)
Under PALS, well performing senior year students in individual courses will be invited to mentor students who experience difficulties in their studies. The peer mentors will be provided with training to enable them to provide effective guidance to their peers.
