A select group of students were inaugurated as Student Ambassadors (SA) of UOW College Hong Kong in a simple ceremony on Friday 26 January. There were 12 student ambassadors, with 8 new ambassadors for the current year and 4 outgoing ambassadors from last year. UOWCHK President, Vice President, Deans and Associate Deans from the 4 Faculties of the College attended the inauguration to hand out certificates of appreciation to the outgoing SAs, and certificates of appointment to the new student ambassadors.
The incoming student ambassadors were told that they represent UOWCHK to serve as a link between prospective students and the college, contributing to the overall success of UOWCHK. They will play a crucial role in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, and help in creating a sense of belonging and support for new and current students. With the pledges by current student ambassadors, their one-year appointment in 2024 officially began.
