The Chair of the Board of Governors, Mr Peter Robson, AO (Order of Australia), held a meeting of the Board in Hong Kong on Monday (March 9) using videoconferencing facilities, and took the opportunity to get an update from staff at UOW College Hong Kong. Due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, the staff meeting with Mr Robson (who is also Chair of the UOW Global Enterprises Board) was done in small groups, with everyone wearing a surgical mask as a safety measure. Staff showed much appreciation of Mr Robson’s visit while sharing their experiences and challenges in online course delivery and working from their homes.
