UOW College Hong Kong opened its doors to the local community, families, and young people as it held its Carnival on 25 May 2024. It was the first large event open to the public at the Tai Wai campus, and attracted many interested students and their parents, who keenly enquired about various academic programmes. Visitors to the campus were able to tour the facilities as well as being able to take part in a diverse range of activities and attractions, including booth games, traditional Japanese and Korean costumes and instant photo taking, fitness challenge, guided art and cultural tour, demonstrations of the maritime operation and robotics laboratories, flight simulation adventure in the aviation lab, media project video showcase, thematic talks, programme seminars and consultation, and souvenirs and refreshments. UOWCHK staff also took advantage of the event to introduce the College to their friends and families. “We are glad that many visitors viewed our modern facilities while learning about the wide range of academic programmes we offer. This event certainly helps promote the College in many prospective students’ minds,” said Ms Currie Tsang, UOWCHK President.
