With the support by Local Co-curricular Activity Fund (UOWCHK), Faculty of Science and Technology had organized an eco tour to Mui Wo, Lantau Island on 18 February 2023. 20 students from CGE13215 Nature and Conservation course joined this activity. This tour was led by Judy KIU. There were several spots where the students would learn biological and cultural issues, including the river ecology and waterbirds, Yuen’s watch tower (a historic building), Man Mo Temple, Paper Bark trees and their importance, cattle herd and its history, and so on. Students learnt through observation and touch sensation.
