As a higher education institution which supports community service, the College co-organized the Pan-Asia Pacific International Mathematics Invitation Competition 2023 at the new Tai Wai campus on 29 July 2023. The competition was attended by around 200 competitors from eight regions and countries, including China, Hong Kong, Macao, Philippines, and Malaysia, among others. Far more than just numbers and equations, the competition aimed to encourage creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and team cooperation in primary and secondary school students. The event was efficiently conducted and completed by noon. The organizer, Mr Frankie Cheung, thanked the College for generous use of the campus with cutting-edge technology for making the competition a success.
