A proactive strategy to reach out to secondary schools in Hong Kong has been aimed at achieving practical results and an enhanced profile for UOW College Hong Kong. Invitations to all secondary schools to either visit the College’s Tai Wai campus or to deliver on-site introductory talks to their students about the College and its academic offerings have met with favourable response. In the last academic year (2023-24) more than 60 visits were conducted which together with other marketing tools contributed to increased applications for admission. In the current academic year (2024-25) thus far about 20 visits to schools in various parts of Hong Kong have been scheduled until February 2025, with more expected towards the end of academic term. During these visits our staff will meet and discuss with teachers and students and address their interests in higher education by answering their questions. The school visits plant seeds in the minds of prospective students and enable them to make informed decisions about their future education. Recent visits in October 2024 included the St. Teresa Secondary School.
