To attract more prospective students, UOW College Hong Kong has been actively organizing a series of admission talks to high school students in different areas in Hong Kong. Some were held at the Tai Wai campus, whilst others were held at the schools’ premises. From late 2023 until June 2024 about 40 talks are scheduled, and so far, more than 30 have been completed. Apart from marketing the wide range of academic programmes offered by the College, the talks offer a good opportunity to interact with enthusiastic high school students and understand their interests and concerns. Many expressed interests in the niche programmes such as aviation and maritime services offered by the College, while others wanted to know more about the traditional business, language, and IT programmes.
