The results of the HKDSE Exam will be announced on Wednesday, July 20, and students will have three days to change their JUPAS order. In the light of this, the College organized a seminar on 16 July 2022, Saturday to explain the selection process and offer advice on how to get into the programme of their choice. The seminar covered a review of the 2020 and 2021 data, the role of JUPAS, the range of university admission scores, an analysis of previous data on university admissions, and how to setup the “blister” programmes. The College also hosted a seminar in conjunction with AAAS Education Consultancy on the same day on how to study in Australia. The seminar covered topics on well-known Australian universities, the niche programmes of University of Wollongong, the procedures for applying for student visas, an overview of housing and living expenditures, and immigration/working holiday opportunities. Questions about the articulation rates of UOWCHK graduates and the further study agreement between UOWCHK and University of Wollongong were actively brought up by participants.
