On 1st April, 2023, the College organized a seminar on the transformation of traditional secondary schools into artificial intelligence institutions. The seminar had 21 participants from secondary schools. The seminar covered topics such as the benefits and challenges of using artificial intelligence in schools, strategies for schools to make changes in the era of artificial intelligence, free AI tools in the classroom, training teachers to integrate AI into the curriculum, and building a learning-centered approach for students to make use of artificial intelligence tools. The speakers were Dr. Lau Ho Lam and Dr. Choi Yiu Kuen. The seminar aimed to educate participants about the basics of AI and the benefits of using AI, such as improving teaching quality and motivating students to learn. The seminar was a great success and the participants were very active in asking questions and engaging in discussions throughout the seminar.
