There were various opportunities for students to meet with local teachers and teachers from UOW to share opinions and ideas to enhance the programme and student experience. One activity is the Joint Student and Staff committee meeting, held in Sem A on 10 October 2018, three student representatives and the three subject instructors had afternoon tea and discuss the courses in Sem A. A productive and meaningful exchange was had.
Another activity was a visit on 15 November 2018 from UOW Associate Dean International, Dr Kate Bowles, who met with current students and alumni. It was a great opportunity to talk about the students’ experience on the programme and their views. Overall students express very positive experiences and felt the subjects were very useful and meaningful in contributing to their preparation for their careers.
Another meaningful activity was a visit on 27-28 January 2019 from members of the Faculty of Law, Humanities and The Arts of UOW, Dr Kate Bowles and Dr Chris Moore, who came to meet with students and talk about the BCMS subjects in Sem B.
