UOW College Hong Kong was the venue for a teacher’s training day for about 60 teachers from the ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School (基督教香港信義會信義中學). The trainees were able to experience the advanced facilities of the college, including the aviation and maritime navigation laboratories, in a demonstration session. The training for the college teachers included a special session on mental health of students given by professional negotiators from the Hong Kong Police Force. The teachers enjoyed the visit while the College took the opportunity to introduce the various quality academic programmes offered as well as the articulation pathways available. As a community service, the College only charged a nominal fee for use of the facilities.
