UOW college hong kong partners with PEGA for training
Students of UOW College Hong Kong were on the receiving end of a free two-week training course in August 2021 in a special software by PEGA System Architect. As part of the company’s global university programme, PEGA, a global IT player with business operations in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, honours UOWCHK as the first tertiary institution in the Greater China area to partner with its training programme for post-secondary students in IT studies. A total of 16 students and staff in the UOW top-up programme of Bachelor of Computer Studies benefitted from the training, which shared state-of-the-art knowledge in business intelligence, data science, and artificial intelligence that could be deployed to enhance customer relations management and provide business solutions to companies. Senior management of UOWCHK were on hand for the online kick-off ceremony on 29 July.
