UOWCHK students collected 58 Government scholarships at the Education Bureau’s Joint Scholarship Presentation Ceremony 2023, held on 25 April 2023 at the Hong Kong convention and Exhibition Centre. The awards were spread in five categories including Endeavour Scholarship (5), Talent Development Scholarship (11), Reaching Out Award (10), Best Performance Award (6), and Outstanding Performance Scholarship (26), with a total award of HK$1,185,000. “We are very proud of the students who garnered the government scholarships,” said Dr Charlie Choi, Acting President. “This event is a testimony to the College's commitment to excellence in education and the development of young talents. It is inspiring to see the hard work and dedication of these students being recognized and celebrated,” he added. Awardees LEE Ya Chun, MOHAMED YOONUS Zakeen Rashadh, TAM Ka Fu, CHAN Cheuk Lam, and EVANGELICA Gabriel, were at the presentation ceremony.
