Locating Library Materials
- How do I find books on a topic?
- How can I determine if the physical book I'm looking for is available to be obtained?
- Is it possible for me to access resources from the UOW Australia library collection?
Perform a keyword search using the Library Catalog. To narrow down your search results to books and eBooks, select "Source Types – Books/ebooks." Alternatively, you can use the Advanced Search option and enter your keyword, then select "Material Type – Books/ebooks."
Most books in the library are available for loan. However, there may be a few collections that contain items restricted for in-library use only. If you need assistance in locating a book on the shelf, please refer to the Collections section or consult the library's staff for guidance.
You can access all physical collections available at UOWCHK Library. Once you perform a keyword search, you will see “Available at UOWC Tai Wai Library.”
Alternatively, you can use the "Refine search results" option on the left side. From there, navigate to "UOW libraries" and choose "UOWC Tai Wai Library."
If the titles you're interested in are held by other UOW libraries, you can request to obtain a chapter. The requested chapter will be sent to you via email.
We share e-resources with UOW Australia Library, you can access e-resources in your finding results via the library web page. However, please note that you can’t borrow any physical book from UOW Australia Library.
