User Guidelines for Room Booking in the Library
- Eligible users (staff and students) are welcome to use the facilities in the library for intellectual pursuit.
- The rooms capacity are 4 to 6 people.
- To use a room for group discussion and collaboration, please ensure that there are at least three members to maximise the space utilisation.
- All booking must be made online by sending an invitation with your full name (same as the name on student card), student ID/staff ID and contact number to the room booking service email below. Please note that online booking would be the first priority to book a room than walk-in.
- Sign in to your UOW email account at http://www.uowmail.edu.au, input your full name, ID number in the subject, and contact number in the content on the invitation email. For the room booking steps, please view the guide or watch the video.

- If the session you would like to reserve has already been booked, you will receive a declined message. Please choose another timeslot and submit a new invitation.
- Each user can book up to 2 HOURS per day.
- If users do not check in the room within the first 15 minutes, their booking will be cancelled automatically.
- Users should not occupy the rooms after booking time.
- Rooms that are not reserved will be made available on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Library reserves the right to reject the use.
- Noise must be kept to the lowest possible level.
- No food or drink is allowed in the library.
- No furniture or equipment should be removed from or brought into the room.
- Users should not lock the room under any circumstances.
- Users must keep the room clean and ready for the next group.
- Do not leave any personal items unattended.The library is not responsible for any loss or damage.
- Any items left after the session ended will be removed without prior notice.
- Please be reminded that your devices should be disconnected from the TV/Screen while leaving.
- Library reserves the right to inspect or reassign any room without prior notice.
- In the case of any dispute over the use of the rooms, the decision of the library staff on duty shall be final and conclusive.
