User Guidelines for Room Booking in the Library

Project Room Using Rules

  1. Each UOW student email can only reserve a maximum of 2 hours per day.
  2. Reservations are based on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. If you fail to arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled booking time, your reservation will be canceled. The room will then be released and made available to other users.
  4. If you leave the room unattended for more than 15 minutes, your booking will be canceled, and all personal belongings will be removed without prior notice.
  5. No food is allowed in the library.
  6. Only closed-lid, non-alcoholic drinks are permitted.
  7. Do not leave your personal belongings unattended. The library is not responsible for any loss or damage.
  8. Please keep your voice low when discussing matters in the room.
  9. The door must remain unlocked during your reservation.
  10. The purpose of the reservation should be for studying. Other activities, such as entertaining (playing games, watching TV/movies, etc.), sleeping, or storing personal belongings, are not allowed.
  11. No furniture or equipment should be removed from or brought into the room.
  12. Please maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the project room.
  13. Before leaving, please turn off the air conditioner, lights, and any electrical appliances or devices.
  14. Library staff reserves the right to take the following actions to manage the project rooms effectively:
    • Inspect or reassign any room without prior notice.
    • Cancel the project room reservation if any individual fails to comply with the rules.
  15. In the event of any disputes concerning room usage, the final and conclusive decision will be made by the library staff on duty.
