1. Online Application
All applicants including current HKDSE students can submit their applications using the online application platform from the college’s website.
2. Via E-APP / JUPAS / DAE
Applicants who sit for the 2024 HKDSE examinations can submit their applications through the Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP) at www.eapp.gov.hk during the period 7 December 2023 - 20 May 2024 for the first round. The second round of E-APP is 24 May 2024 - 8 July 2024.
For Bachelor of Aviation (Honours) in Operations and Management and Bachelor of Maritime Services and Operations Management (Honours), applicants must apply through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS).
Applicants applying for admission to the Diploma of Applied Education (DAE) must submit their applications online at www.dae.edu.hk in early December 2023 for the first round.
3. By Post / In-person
Applications by post/in-person should include completed application form and relevant documents and be sent/brought to: UOW College Hong Kong, 1/F, 18 Che Kung Miu Road, Tai Wai, New Territories, Hong Kong.
Application Fee
Application fee is payable when applicants are invited for interviews. Application fee can be paid by the following methods:
- By direct deposit at any branch of the Hang Seng Bank or ATM transfer (Bank Code: 024) (A/C number: 359-300001-004) OR
- By Octopus Card at the College Office
Required Documents
The following documents should be submitted together with the completed application form:
- Photocopies of relevant certificates and transcripts
- Photocopy of HKID card or passport
Interviews
Once we receive your applications, the College will contact you shortly by e-mail for interview arrangements.
Result of Application
Applicants will be notified of the results of their applications by post or email. Successful applicants will receive an offer letter. To confirm acceptance of the offer, students are required to pay the acceptance/ tuition fee on or before the due date indicated in the offer letter.
Non-local students are required to apply for Student Visa/Entry Permit issued by the Immigration Department of HKSAR Government. Generally, it takes about 6-8 weeks to process a visa application.
The total tuition fee for associate degree/higher diploma programmes is HK$ 113,400 for two years. Non-local students are required to settle the tuition fee of HK$54,000 upon acceptance of admission offer and pay an additional, one-off administrative charge of HK$12,000.
Non-local students will need to make their own accommodation arrangements while studying in Hong Kong.
Furnishing false information
Applicants utilizing any application method, including but not limited to online forms, E-APP, JUPAS, DAE, and paper form, are deemed to authorize the College to obtain information from HKEAA and other relevant authorities regarding their HKDSE and other public examination results, as well as their academic and/or professional qualifications. Applicants who do not consent to this authorization should notify the College at least two working days before the release of the HKDSE examination results.
Qualifications provided by applicants will be verified and checked for accuracy at the time of enrollment. Provision of any false or misleading information, or failure to supply full documentation for verification on request, will lead to DISQUALIFICATION of the application for admission and enrollment in the College. Fees paid will NOT be refunded.
Change of correspondence information after submission of application
If there are changes to your correspondence information (postal address, contact phone number, and e-mail address) after submission of application, please notify us by email at uowchk-main@uow.edu.au. You may be asked to provide documentary proof of these changes.
You are reminded to keep your correspondence information updated to ensure timely receipt of communications from the College regarding your application.
Use of Application Information
The information that you provide to our College, including the HKID card number, will be used for the following purposes:
- as a basis for various types of processing in relation to your application;
- as a basis for selection of applicants for admission to the programmes offered by the College, and for other relevant or related purposes;
- as a basis for consideration of credit transfer as appropriate;
- for identifying multiple applications and records of previous studies as a student in the College;
- for transfer to the student record system upon the successful outcome of your application to degree programmes
- for statistical and research purposes (our staff may call you to collect some information)
In accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right of access to, and the right of correction of, the information contained in the application form, and the right to request a copy of such data.
Cancellation of Programmes
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend any programme. Fees already paid for any such programmes will be refunded.
Credit Transfer
If you have completed equivalent courses at a postsecondary institution, you may be eligible to apply for credit transfer to your chosen programme upon admission to the College.
At the discretion of individual faculties, credit transfer and admission may be assessed at the same time. If you have previous studies which you wish to be considered for credit transfer, please provide full information of your previous studies and attach copies of the relevant transcripts during your application.
